"Good liquor, good women, and the town of Lawless, all for me. It's any man's fantasy."
— Ganzo to Angelo[1]

Personality

Ganzo is quick to anger. He is quick to become worked up over many things, to even his family and others close to him. Though he seems to be loyal to his family, he secretly conspired to take them out so he can run Lawless himself.

History

On April of 1921, Ganzo accompanies Vincent, Nero, and Vanno to wipe out the Lagusa family. Though Angelo says that he did not fire any shots and he seems to have stayed outside by the car the entire time. Though it is unknown what his role was, he was present when Angelo escapes and the Lagusa house is burnt down.

Nine years later, at Vincent's behest, Ganzo attempts to track down Angelo. He finds him and lies to Vincent about his status. Though Vincent thinks that Angelo's dead, Ganzo sends Angelo an anonymous letter where he claims to be Testa's friend and wanting to help Angelo get his revenge. Angelo returns to Lawless.

After Avilio is caught murdering Del Toro, he is brought into a private area by Tigre and Barbero. After Barbero says not to get Nero, Tigre goes to get Ganzo instead. He explains the situation to him, and Ganzo says to get Nero anyway, as he is the don. Tigre goes to do this while Ganzo heads downstairs.

In the room with Avilio and Barbero, Barbero begins explaining what happened with the letter to him. Saying that Ganzo was one of the targets. Ganzo feighns ignorance and says that Tigre went to get Nero. This infuriates Barbero, as he believes that he won't do anything to Avilio. Just as he is about to kill Avilio himself, Ganzo shoots him in the head, killing him.
